Summary: The TextMetrics baseline must provide a baseline
                    property
           Product: HTML WG
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
Component: HTML Canvas 2D Context (editor: Ian Hickson)
        AssignedTo: ian@hixie.ch
        ReportedBy: schwer@us.ibm.com
         QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org
                CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org,
                    public-html@w3.org

In order to properly replace text to support rich text editing it is important
that we be able to ascertain the baseline position of text in order to perform
proper text placement.

Consequently it is essential that 'baseline' be added to the TextMetrics object
returned from .measureText.

We recommend returning the float y-offset the baseline will be set at from the
origin based on the current value of textBaseline, font and the content
of the measureText DOMString argument.
