[Bug 11215] What about folders? On OSX for example some "files" are actually folders. There should be a way to drag in folders too.

There is nothing in the spec preventing folders to be treated as files. So you
should be able to drag a folder just as much as a file. If not, file a bug on
the implementation where you're seeing this behavior.
