You neglected to reference the other issues associated with dt/dd, including
the fact that the different syntactic requirements for dt/dd based on container
is going to lead to confusion about which is the proper use of the elements
based on which container. 

Your only reason for picking these is because there was no physical reason for
not using them: not because they were a superior option, not because there was
any real logic for using the elements, and not because it was the best solution
for the future. It was a slap dash grab at something, anything.

Yes, this needs to be escalated to an issue.
