AFAICT, the spec does in fact document every HTML or DOM feature supported by
Web browsers that need to be supported for Web compatibility (and aren't
covered by other specs).

I think the first sentence should be clearer about what the scope really is,
and the example should point out something that the spec does not cover at all.
