I was really looking for objective data supporting these points rather than
merely anecdotal evidence. The same kind of data as Philip provides to support
his requests, for instance.

Regarding implementations, I ask no less of my own suggestions. If you don't
agree with this approach to spec development, you are welcome to discuss it
with the chairs.

Please let me know when there's an implementation and real data to support this
feature request. I can't and won't do anything until that research is done and
until implementation experience has been collected.
