I meant to add that those percentage calculations obviously make the assumption
that this is a representative sample of pages. There could obviously be
communities creating web pages — not included in your population draw — with
more widespread use of the solidus for some purpose (or simply as an error in
which case we shouldn't worry about it). But we should let the representatives
of those authoring communities step forward and comment on the draft if it will
create any hardships for them. We don't have to go out of our way to anticipate
some possibly fictional needs of some potential authoring  community somewhere.
