During this CfC an issue was raised and addressed, namely as "promises" 
have now been taken up by ECMA it should be removed from this specification:


As this change appears to be uncontroversial and does not introduce any 
new material, the chairs have decided that this does not affect this CfC.

With no objections, and a number of indications of support, this CfC passes.
