The editors of this document are trying to get this document ready for last call. At the present time, there are two bugs outstanding: https://www.w3.org/bugzilla_public/buglist.cgi?bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=REOPENED&component=HTML%2FXHTML%20Compatibility%20Authoring%20Guide%20%28ed%3A%20Eliot%20Graff%29&product=HTML%20WG&list_id=29356 These two bugs are blocked by HTML specification bugs: https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=23368 https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=23587 These bugs, in turn, are assigned to Robin. The chairs intend to do the should do the Polyglot Note vs Recommendation Track Preference Survey once the document is ready for last call, but before it actually goes to last call. The current draft of the survey can be found here: https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/40318/polyglot-status-preference-poll/ Before the survey is issued, we intend to give everybody an opportunity to update the rationale statements that they provided, should they wish to do so. - Sam Ruby
