The confusing period that occurs twice a year is coming up in two weeks. Most European clocks shift back 1 hr on Sun. Oct. 27 2013. Most of the North American clocks shift back 1 hr a week later, Sun. Nov. 03 2013. China and Japan do not observe DST. http://www.timeanddate.com/time/dst/2013.html Between October 27 and November 3, the time difference between North America and Europe will be 1 hour earlier than expected it currently is. This means that for that week the Zakim teleconferences that are scheduled according to the North American clock will start *one hour earlier* in local time for most Europeans. The time links in each date of the teleconference calendar [1] confirm the time that Zakim has been instructed to start the teleconference. If you are unsure about the scheduled time of any teleconference, check the UTC link above the teleconference name on the specific date of that teleconference. /paulc HTML WG co-chair [1] http://www.w3.org/Guide/1998/08/teleconference-calendar Paul Cotton, Microsoft Canada 17 Eleanor Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2E 6A3 Tel: (425) 705-9596 Fax: (425) 936-7329
