Hi,
Yandex would like to make an editorial request for an extra use case.
Discoverability is important for a couple of reasons - one is enabling a
search engine to find descripitons of images, since image search is now a
very common thing to do.
The other is in finding resources where images have a detailed
description, given it is clear that many images are more complex than will
be described in a simple alt (or even an alt that is long enough to be
unwieldy)...
