Working together on HTML5 and ARIA

I welcome, and would like to further encourage, the renewed effort to find technical language on HTML-WG Issue 204 that would be mutually acceptable to the HTML and the PF Working Groups. I'm also encouraged to see that the technical design currently under exploration no longer affects existing implementations of ARIA describedby, which was the strongest concern expressed by the PFWG (which develops the ARIA specification). I hope that the concerns expressed in the formal objection [1] can be resolved in this way, and that this renewed cooperation on technical language will help foster improved coordination between the two groups on the remaining accessibility issues in HTML5.

Best wishes
