Hi Silvia,

The alt Meta Generator issue was reopened as ISSUE-206, a call for consensus
was made and resolved by Amicable Resolution

The prevailing change proposal was:
http://www.w3.org/html/wg/wiki/ChangeProposals/Issue31cMetaGeneratorUpdated

So this bug 17117 should reflect that resolution.
