Hmm, you bring up a good point. The bug title/fix mentions only defining
abbr="" for <th>, but a number of comments here indicate that it is also useful
and used for <td> elements. Let me follow up to see if there are detrimental
implications of retaining the deprecation of it for <td>, given that it is now
defined for <th>.
