Announcing New Co-Facilitators for the HTML-A11Y Task Force

Dear HTML WG, PFWG, and HTML A11y TF Participants:

The Chairs of the HTML Working Group and of the WAI Protocols and Formats
Working Group are pleased to announce new Co-Facilitators for our joint
HTML-A11Y Task Force effective immediately. There will now be three
Co-Facilitators to help guide the expanded work of the Task Force under the
HTML-WG's Plan 2014 [1]:

*	Charles McCathie Nevile, Yandex, and member of the W3C Advisory Board, will join the Task Force as a Co-Facilitator.

*	Steve Faulkner, W3C Invited Expert, will become a Task Force Co-Facilitator.

*	Janina Sajka, W3C Invited Expert and Chair of the WAI Protocols &
Formats Working Group, and of the WAI IndieUI Working Group, will
continue as a Task Force Facilitator.

We want to thank Mike Smith for his three years of service as Task Force
Co-Facilitator. We are pleased that Mike will continue to serve the Task Force
together with Michael Cooper as W3C Staff Contacts.

As a joint Task Force of the HTML Working Group and of the WAI Protocols &
Formats Working Group, The Task Force brings together HTML and accessibility
experts in the W3C to help ensure that HTML 5 provides features to enable Web
content to be accessible to people with disabilities. Under Plan 2014 [1] the
Task Force is now empowered to create specifications that extend deliverables
of the HTML Working Group in the area of accessibility.

We encourage everyone interested in enhancing the accessibility of HTML to
become an active participant of the HTML-A11Y Task Force. The Task Force Home
