Per the recently posted draft stabilization plan, this request could be entered as Last Call 2 feedback. If longdesc is made conforming as a result of the reopened ISSUE-30, then this would qualify as a comment based on an LC1 change. On the other hand, the WG may choose to be less receptive to feature requests at that stage.
