UltraViolet and captions

Of the many things breathlessly announced at CES this year, UltraViolet (http://www.uvvu.com/ ; a sort of unified method for distributing movies, where you purchase the rights to view a movie, rather than only purchase the movie itself; you can then view the movie on any number of devices) may hold some interest to members of the task force:

One thing not mentioned about UltraViolet is that SMPTE-TT has been adopted as its captioning format.  Sean, chime in if you have other info.
