I think it's wrong to assume that explicitly added poster attribute implies
poster frame explicitly chosen by the author. Video hosting sites and markup
authoring tools may add poster frame automatically (as a performance
optimisation). This seems to be standard practice in current Flash players.

BTW: is this discussion appropriate for the bug comments? Perhaps it should be
taken to the mailinglist?
