Weekly Resolved & Rejected Bugs Report

Hello Everyone,

Since the last report we have had one WONTFIX bug resolution and one
NEEDSINFO bug resolution. No bugs were fixed.

Six bugs were reopened. Twenty one new a11y bugs were reported.

33 total NEW a11y bugs existed on August 28, 2010. A new bug snapshot

The bug team marked fifteen bugs as verified. A bug reporter has two
weeks to take action from the time a bug is put in VERIFIED state
according to the decision policy.

Forty seven a11y bugs on the HTML5 Spec await task force decision of
whether to apply the a11ytf keyword or not.

The details are as follows.

1. WONTFIX BUG:

1.1 Bug 10077: "The <embed> should support an alt attribute. While the
embedded content should provide for accessilibility of the embedded
object, the developer doesn't always have control over those content,
some embeddable formats are inherently less accessible, and th"

discussion, it has been concluded that while current implementations
of aria status map to the status bar role in most accessibility APIs ,
