We have found several cases were an ALT-text for the poster frame would be of
use for visual impaired users to gain an equivalent access to the video. I
think this is clear after the exchange of arguments on this bug ticket.

With Ian's words, we now have to find a semantic way to express in words the
pretty looking and manipulative poster frame.

What are the suggestions on the table at the moment?
