Weekly Resolved & Rejected Bugs Report

Hello Everyone,

Since the last report we have had:

* Four WONTFIX bug resolutions. Details are in section 1.
* One FIXED bug resolutions. Details are in section 2.
* Five VERIFIED bugs. Details are in section 3. Marking a bug VERIFIED
starts a TWO WEEK clock to take action. If no action is taken, the bug
is marked NoReply. A NoReply puts a bug in a terminal state.
* Three ASSIGNED bugs. Details are in section 4.
* Three NEW a11y bugs reported. Details are in section 5.

A backlog of 77 a11y bugs on the HTML5 Spec await task force decision
of whether to apply the a11ytf keyword or not. Details are in section
5.

1.1 Bug 8171: "Implement the text alternatives proposal from WAI"
reported by Michael Cooper.
Ms2ger had marked this bug VERIFIED INVALID without comment.
I marked it WONTFIX and commented: "Marking this bug WONTFIX as it is
the main bug for HTML TRACKER ISSUE-31 and the editor has not fixed it
per the Change proposal provided at:

2.1 Bug 11207: "Make track element additions technology neutral"
reported by Sean Hayes.
Ian's rationale: "I did most of the changes. A CueSettings object
doesn't make much sense, so I just removed the constructor instead.
For the charset="" attribute I used slightly different phrasing for
essentially the same effect (so that I could cross-reference it from
the WebSRT section in versions of the spec that do still include
WebSRT)"

5.1 Bug 8800: "Cut/copy/paste should use dedicated events instead of
overloading drag and drop" reported by Maciej Stachowiak.
This bug is a new a11y bug but not a new bug per se. Martin added the
a11y keyword to this bug last Tuesday as it is related to the other
drag & drop bugs.
