Candidate TF Resolution: ISSUES-90, 91, 93, 95, 96, & 97

The HTML-A11Y Task Force Face to Face offers the following candidate
resolution for adoption by the TF. Discussion in email is
welcome--simply reply to this message. This resolution will appear on
our teleconference agenda this Thursday. Also, a WBS survey will shortly
be announced where you may vote on it.

RESOLUTION: The HTML-A11Y Task Force opposes the change proposals to
remove the elements as proposed in the following issues at the following
URIs. We maintain the work item to check these elements and make them
better.

ISSUE-90, ISSUE-91, ISSUE-93, ISSUE-95, ISSUE-96, ISSSUE-97

RATIONALE: The F2F believes these elements are actually useful for
accessibility. We note that features similar to the elements in question
are today created using elements with different semantics actuated by
style and script, whereas we prefer native elements.
