[htmail] Roundtable „Standardising HTML for the E-Mail Sector“ in Cologne 9/9/14

Hello all email interested people,



we would like to invite you to the roundtable „Standardisation of HTML for the E-Mail Sector” in co-operation with our working group at W3C on Tuesday, 9th September 2014 in Cologne.



The members of the email standard workgroup are interested in discussing a new email HTML syntax standard for long term use. The results will be available to all concerned player in particular the W3C and internet service providers.


The main meeting points for email standardisation are:


•         Defining a common standard on basis of existing code (Find a compromise on CSS Tags)

•         Identify the required to do’s for standardization.

•         Define a Roadmap to standardization html and css for email

•         How could email work better with html5



Audience:



•         ESP

•         ISP

•         W3C, DMA, BVDW, …
