Hello all, my name is Jenny and I have studied Media Management with focus on online marketing. I am the contact person of BVDW in Düsseldorf, especially of the „Initiative Email“. As Stefan already said: The „Initiative Email“ is a forum for ISP, ESP and Agencies and marketer how interest about email, markets and standards. We are meeting three times a year to discuss about privacy, whitelisting, delivery, email standards and political topics. Initiative starts the projects Market research, Data Protection and the Email Standard Workgroup. In the long run our mission will be to make the email market, transparence, easier and more modern. Our aim is, to see if it´s possible to establish email standards and find a good way to move the topic forward. Nice to meet you all! I start as programmer to develop shop systems and email marketing solutions, after 4 years in business it was very boring , so I decide to study media management. After graduation I started with working as marketing consultant in Germany (Bonn). I take responsibility for marketing operations, partner management and stay in contect with important digital and direct marketing lobby groups in Germany. Additional I'm the chairman of the „Initiative Email“ by the lobby group BVDW. „Initiative Email“ is a forum for ISP, ESP and Agencies and marketer how interest about email, markets and standards. In the moment we are establish a Email Standard Workgroup (@BVDW) in cooperation with Felix Sasaki (W3C). At the time supported two German email web client provider this project, other maybe follow... After release of outlook engine 07/10/13/... and the miscarriage of the email standard project (sorry) it will be time to bring a change of the email standard.
