I suggest we separately consider the question of "leaving the door open
to a WG Note on Complete GRDDL Results", as follows:

Proposal 1b part 1, which changes the transformation input domain from
XPath node tree to the original XML document representation:
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-grddl-wg/2007Jun/0201.html

Proposal 2b part 1, which changes the transformation input domain from
XPath node tree to the original XML document representation, *and* it
specifies that parsing is minimal, non-validating:
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-grddl-wg/2007Jun/0209.html

The proposal for "leaving the door open to a WG Note on Complete GRDDL
Results" is
parts 2, 3 and 4 of
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-grddl-wg/2007Jun/0201.html
