There are a few known issues noted in the GRDDL draft spec: "Implementation experience to date suggests investigating the following issues: * how the transformation algorithm gets the base URI; specify how that works as an XSLT param" -- http://www.w3.org/TeamSubmission/grddl/#implExp http://www.w3.org/TeamSubmission/2005/SUBM-grddl-20050516/#implExp I think I have made up 3 or 4 mechanisms to deal with base URIs. I think embedded RDF has another approach. I think it will be worth expanding GRDDL to include a standardized mechanism.
