I am suppost to scribe on wednesday's teleconference, but yesterday
CANTAT-3[1] the undersea cable between north america and iceland was
broken. So the internet hear only exists in rare pockets and even then
it is dial-up speed.[2,3] They are attempting some temporary fixes,
but i'm not sure i can hold a VOIP connection for the conference call.

Things might be better in the next few days, but i wanted to let the
working group know i might have to send regrets for wednesday.
