Currently the charter is in review by the Advisory Committee (AC).   
The AC got notice of the proposed charter a few weeks ago and now have  
a chance to review it, express support, make comments, etc.  This  
review period closes on Monday, 11 August.

Folks can help by making sure their AC representative has filled out  
the form expressing support and their interest in participating.  The  
form itself (member-only) is at:
