Re: Added parse() function to expression module

Hi Nick,

This is a good suggestion, although it should probably be a space
separated list of QNames.
There is an ednote suggesting that the WG needs future discussion on all
manner of $format specifications.

John,

Shouldn't we make format a QName and say that an implementation may add
values outside the default namespace, for both parse and serialize. And
maybe say that currently all other supported values the xml are
implementation defined?

Kind regards,

This was a Category:XForms20 feature:
http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/Forms/wiki/Parse_and_serialize_functions

It was suggested to make it compatible with XPath 3.0 parse-xml(), The
result is compatible, not identical. Differences are explained in an
editor note, which will be fodder for discussion.
