In many ways it might be regarded as similar to xf:repeat in that the bound nodeset is used to make a corresponding set of nodes whose content is derived from the target nodeset. With that in mind, I'd say it probably should have a bind attribute for consistency's sake.

I see that http://www.w3.org/TR/xforms11/#submit-header The Header Element  
allows @nodeset but not @bind. Mistake or deliberate?
