Congratulations, all.

As a complement to this spec, one can use a File Transfer Client module
spec that we were working on at [1]. This spec has already an
implementation for eXist, and in few days we will have a new version,
consisting of two layers, one generally, to be used in any XML Db, and one
adapter for eXist.
