Hi EXI Enthusiasts,



Some of you may have already noticed. The EXI working group published an EXI Profile document [1] that is meant for application areas that are not capable or allowed to require arbitrary memory growth at runtime.



Evaluations of EXI in the context of such restricted environments exposed some challenges to the attempt to restrict memory usage predictably within their limited respective threshold.
The EXI profile document specifies capping rules to ensure that the memory restrictions are respected.



Feedback is welcome on the document content as well as on topics covered by the editorial notes.
