Perhaps it should be pointed out that ICO format means true Windows Icon
format, and not the renamed BMP format that Windows has supported for
icons for the past few versions.

Also, that Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and earlier (I can't speak for
7+) only support this ICO format.

Also, it might be worth following both method one and method two so as
to cater for older clients (while also reducing the number of 404s that
show up in error logs due to user agents looking there for a file you
put elsewhere).
