SKOS Play ! a free service to visualize SKOS data

Hello

I am pleased to announce here the availability of SKOS Play [1], a free
application to render and visualize thesaurus, taxonomies or controlled
vocabularies expressed in SKOS. SKOS Play can generate alphabetical index
or hierarchical trees of SKOS data in HTML or PDF documents. It also
integrates with d3js [2] to provide some graphical interactive
representations of the data.

Example SKOS data are included in the application for you to try : Eurovoc
Thesaurus, Unesco Thesaurus, W Thesaurus (french national archives), and
subject list from the New York Times ([3][4][5][6]). The application is
currently limited to 5000 concepts due to hardware limitations.

Your contributions are important : community feedback is most welcomed at
[7], the code is open-source and accessible at [8]. Fell free to get in
touch with me if you want additionnal information. You can help in
reporting bugs, translating the application, suggesting appropriate
visualisations, or contributing to the code.

Future improvements to SKOS Play may include simple thesaurus alignment
rendering, dynamically following linked concepts through their URIs, and
additionnal visualizations.

Hope you like it !
Thomas
