ASSIGNMENT: Review of Selecting Evaluation Tools

Greetings all,

You are receiving this because you are part of the review team for
Selecting Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools. Editors Nic and Laura have
completed extensive revisions and submitted for final group review before
going to the full EO.

In his review, Shadi made significant comments and editors have responded.
Since there are important differences of opinion, your perspective is
needed to resolve the issues and get us to final draft.

Please review:
1. Editor's version:
https://github.com/w3c/wai-selecting-eval-tools/blob/master/index.md
2.Commented pull request from Shadi
https://github.com/w3c/wai-selecting-eval-tools/pull/9

It may help to recall that the purpose for the Selecting Web Accessibility
Evaluation Tools document is to provide our audience with information to
consider when selecting a tool to evaluate web sites for accessibility.

In practical use, the document has two goals: 1. to explain the categories
of the tools list. 2. to help people understand web accessibility
evaluation tools (regardless of whether they use the Tools List or not)

Once you have reviewed both the editor's version and the proposed changes,
we will hold a discussion either at TPAC or on the phone to work though the
issues.

Thanks very much Nic, Laura, Shadi and all for the tremendous progress on
this document.

Best,
Sharron and Brent
