Re: About Emergency Information Community Group

Hi David,

Thanks for showing interest in the group. Currently not much is going on
in the group, but I'm in the process of transfering some deliverables of
some european projects to this group.
Mainly talking about vocabularies and ontology's.

As one of the co-chairs I dare to say that the bigger issue of this group
is the lack of representation from emergency organizations.
I'm not 100% sure but I'm probably one of the few, if not the only one,
who actively works in the field of emergency response.

One of the projects I'm working on right now is http://www.firebrary.com a
SKOS based fire department taxonomy site.
Currently most content is just in dutch, but I would be open to any other
organization interested in donating its taxonomy.

Please let me know what you are exactly looking for.

Met Vriendelijke Groet / With Kind Regards
Bart van Leeuwen

Subject: About Emergency Information Community Group

Hi,

My name is David, and i would like to know more about your community
group.

It´s still working?. I´ve noticed that last post was done on October 6,
2013.

May you tell me more about any work in progress of this group?.

I´m strongly involved in various emergency management associations and i
would like to know about the different tasks that could being carried out
by this community group.

Best regards,

David.
