You created a branch called "kcoyle-copyedits", not a PR.

I'm happy with the edits so once Rob & Lars review, the changes will go in.

    There are definitely sentences that I could not interpret, a few that
    seemed to have missing words. I will try to reconstruct those.
    
    The editors need to read through my changes to make sure that I didn't
    change the meaning of any statements. It would be great if others
    besides the editors could read through my changes to make sure that they
