Typologies can be illustrative, and we may wish to use some if we talk about conformance and transitivity in the guidance document. (We do not yet know if those concepts will be included; we have quite a ways to go in that document.) They may also be useful to explain transitivity in the profilesOnt document. Without some clear examples it may be unclear to readers what the intention is with this function. @rob-metalinkage Rather than declare "partial conformance" out of scope, it would be good to open a dialog about that with others. That would favor developing a consensus around any decisions, and decisions do need to be the result of consensus. If the group decides that profileOnt will not support that, it would be good to make that explicit and show motivation for the decision.
