Re: Feedback on the Profiles Vocabulary - Definition and note of prof:hasToken

Hi Heidi and Makx,

Thanks for the examples. I understand the ontology design principle here and will apply it to all annotations in the Vocabulary for the 3rd PWD.

I think the definition should not indicate use, that’s for the usage note.

I would suggest:

Definition: “An alternative identifier for the Profile”
Usage Note: “To be used when the Profile’s URI cannot be used, for example in APIs or in content negotiation.”

Subject: Feedback on the Profiles Vocabulary - Definition and note of prof:hasToken

From Heidi Vanparys via GitHub: https://github.com/w3c/dxwg/issues/723 regarding the Profiles Vocabulary:

The definition and note should be updated as they start with "A property..." and "This property is ...". A definition and note should define and describe the concept the property represents, not saying that "Property X represents concept X". See e.g. guideline 4 in [Guidelines for writing definitions in ontologies](https://philarchive.org/archive/SEPGFWv1)

E.g.
definition: profile identifier for use in APIs
note: Should be used when the Profile's URI cannot be used. For potential use in content negotiation.
