DW WG: Introduction of Eric Stephan, PNNL

Hi everyone and Happy New Year!

My name is Eric Stephan [1] I work in scientific data management, my
interest is the practical application of linked data for scientists wanting
to share, convey, and find each other's results in a more intuitive way. I
have interests in:

   - evolving linked data practices for complex and large scale data

   - data quality representation (including imprecision, uncertainty, and
change management)

   - vocabulary management methodologies as it relates to role-based data
usage.

I initially became involved in the W3C initially through participation in
the Provenance Working Group and our interests since then have grown to
incorporate LD/REST and Linked Open Vocabularies into our applications.

I work for the U.S. Department of Energy Pacific Northwest National
Laboratory [2]. The lab supports open user facilities as well as a diverse
research portfolio that provide a nice back drop for real world use cases
in the sciences.

I look forward to working with you all!

Eric
