Certainly.

UIA is primarily User Interface automation accessibility framework and doesn’t contain strong semantic entities required for digital publishing, so most of the roles in the list would be expressed as combination of TextControlType with LocalizedControlType as well as some attributes on TextPattern.

That makes sense from what I know of UIA TextPattern. Once it is in we will be creating the test harness for this module.

Excellent! The ARIA 1.1 CFC is out now and I have created an action for you for the Core AAM to address UIA as well:
https://www.w3.org/WAI/ARIA/track/actions/2118 <https://www.w3.org/WAI/ARIA/track/actions/2118>

In ARIA 1.2 and beyond we will be moving all actions/issues to GitHub.

Best,
Rich
