Re: Outcomes of the XG

Renato

provided these initial targets are okay for everybody, we need to design
some tasks and schedules accordingly.

For the vocabulary, we could start from
step1) gather existing vocabularies in use (say complete within the first
month)
step2) discuss/merge/distinguish/amend/ terminology in use and create a
vocabulary that we suggest as a 'standard' and propose for general adoption
(say work in batches wuth the aim to review 3-5 terms per week or
something)

Do you suggest that your proposed deliverables are started at the same time,
or do we need the vocab in place before we move to the interop standards you
think?
( think we should work in parallel, without making anything stable til the
last phase when
both resources are reasonably outlined before we make them firm)

I do feel however that the vocabulary is only the beginning of a much bigger
effort, and can be mapped to a semantic network, and used for actual
filtering of related content etc, but maybe we talk about that if/when we
get there.

I Before we start, have we got the third sponsor for the incubator?
I think you said we need another one? When is the official start date?

Thanks
