Our group has been given the opportunity to host a discovery session at Henry Stewart Events DAM NY on Friday May 4, 2018. The session will be part of the DAM Clinic track starting at 9AM. The discussion should last 45 minutes. DAM NY is on May 3-4, 2018. You can see the full agenda here. We have been provided a discount code W3C100, which will give you $100 off your registration fee. Title Advancing Findability: Using Standards-based asset metadata on the World Wide Web Description Several dozen stakeholders in the Digital Asset Management community have organized a working group with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C): DAM Industry Business Ontology Community Group. To spark our our discovery process, we will facilitate a freewheeling discussion to learn what already exists for publishing from DAM systems and gauge interest in the idea of publishing assets along with select metadata based on standards such as schema.org vocabularies. Your participation will help our group formulate recommendations to the W3C to improve findability of digital assets on major search engines.
