Reminder: Archival Task Force

Second call to join the Archival Task Force

You'll recall that late last year, in addition to creating a DPub IG Task
Force to look at Locators, we also created a TF to better define library and
archival service issues relevant to our PWP white paper and to other ongoing
or anticipated work of the DPub IG. A page on the IG wiki was created for
this TF:
 https://www.w3.org/dpub/IG/wiki/Task_Forces/archival

As soon as possible, please add your name to the Members list on the wiki
page if interested in being part of this TF. As I recall one or two
additional folks who indicated an interest during IG calls in December have
not yet added their names.

As you can see from the TF wiki page, Heather has already updated and
fleshed out draft goals for the TF. While we will likely be able to do a lot
of our work asynchronously, I would like to convene an in person TF call
next week (or the week after, depending on schedules) to review and revise
as necessary TF goals, talk together about strategies for accomplishing
these goals, coordinate our initial efforts and assemble a preliminary
timeline for the TF. I would also be interested in thoughts about who
specifically we might want to reach out to in the library and archival
communities to give us input to help us complete our tasks.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) I will circulate a Doodle to members listed as of
tomorrow morning to see if we can find a time for this call - so please do
add your name to the wiki page today if interested.

Thanks,
