(Admin) a minor change on the Interest Group mailing list setup

We have had, several times in the past few months, the situation whereby non IG members wanted to participate in some of our discussions, but the particular setup of the mailing list created problems: indeed, only bona fide IG members were allowed to post on the mailing list (that is why I had to forward moderated posts several times, which broke the clean threading in the discussions).

The setup has now been changed, and anybody can post on the mailing list (modulo the anti-spam registration that happens for the first time mailers). We will see how this works out: if we get too many irrelevant mails, we can tighten the rules again. But I do not expect that to happen.
