One additional point.

Janina asked me to take a look at a comment filed by Suzanne Taylor of Pearson on behalf of the AAP in 2011 [1] about alt/longdesc/aria properties. We should try reconcile what we sent and this submission. I have asked Suzanne if she can join us today, but it is very last minute, so she may not be able to you. This note was sent in 2011, so our comment may be that time has changed our perspective.
