DAP Charter has been extended

The DAP Charter [a] has been extended until 31 December 2015 [b].

Current participants remain in the group without further action.

This reflects the work of the working group:

[[

The group recently published a Proposed Recommendation of the Vibration API [1] and a Candidate Recommendation of the Battery Status API [2]. Another of its specifications, HTML Media Capture [3], is in Candidate Recommendation, and is expected to transition to Proposed Recommendation early 2015.

Meanwhile, renewed interest and work on a generic pattern for sensor APIs has started [4] and will affect both Ambient Light (LC) and Proximity Events (CR).

The joint work with the WebRTC Working Group on microphone and camera input [5] is still very active.

]]

Much thanks to Dom, the team, and members of the WG.

regards, Frederick
