You are just trying to expose functionality that may be present on some specific devices (mobile phones), I'm asking to be able to use the same apps developed for those mobile phones on devices that aren't mobile phones (such as desktop/laptop pcs). That might be by using a web intent provider from a phone to a web intent capable UA on the PC/Laptop so that it can run the same application that requires the sensor, but which isn't available in a desktop/laptop.
