答复: drafting March f2f agenda

Hi!

I’m Jing Wu from Chinaunicom and we have a proposal about the topics of
March f2f agenda.

WoPhone is a kind of smart phone officially launched on 2.28.2011 by
Chinaunicom. WoPhone OS is developed under the leadership of China Unicom
,which is supported by our government fund.
So, we want to give a presentation about WoPhone on this meeting. We will
introduce the progress and plan on the mobile web runtime of WoPhone.

Could you give Chinaunicom a chance to give the presentation?

Thanks!

主题: drafting March f2f agenda

I have created a rough draft for an agenda for the F2F 20-22 March to help
us review and create an agenda, see
http://www.w3.org/2009/dap/wiki/F2F_Agenda_20-22_March_2012,_Shenzhen,_China

http://www.w3.org/2009/dap/wiki/F2F_Agenda_20-22_March_2012,_Shenzhen,_China
#Day_3.2C_Thursday_22_March_2012_.289_am_-_4_pm.29

Some thoughts:

1) WebIntents on Day 1 reflects our general agreement to review and progress
WebIntents on day !. I also think it would be useful to review how we intend
to progress Contacts given our understanding of WebIntents. We probably
should also review and plan to document privacy/security of device APIs in
the context of WebIntents.

2) I suggest the WG as a whole should understand the status of the Media
Capture task force, perhaps a member of that task force can volunteer to
lead a session to review and discuss that work. This can help socialize the
work and also encourage additional participation and feedback to the TF.

3) We probably should consider how to move Battery and Vibration to CR, this
might happen on a teleconference before the F2F (after 1 March for
Vibration), but maybe it is an appropriate decision for the F2F.

4) Although work on test cases and interop can happen out of the main WG
calls, maybe we can start work on this at the F2F, raising any issues we
might have.

Timings and topics are all a rough take, just to get us started. If you plan
to call in, you should indicate if a topic you can contribute to should be
moved in the schedule. I'm not sure we can juggle everything to everyone's
satisfaction, but we can try. We also need to get a clear understanding of
who plans to attend in person, and who plans to call in, including those
working on WebIntents that are not in DAP.

I tentatively put 9-5 for day 1, 2 and 9-4 for day 3, but we should discuss.

Do you see any missing topics?

thanks

regards, Frederick
