Dear all,

you might find it interesting to see that in their release of iAd JS, Apple supports:

  - A simple calendar interface that has properties similar to ours, and mostly allows bringing up a dialog to save an event to one's calendar;
  - A set of simple messaging APIs that allow to send SMS, MMS, and email. The latter has a simple approach to handling the body and attachments. Again, these bring up a UI to send the message.

You can find the details at:

  https://developer.apple.com/library/iad/navigation/

(In the Documents box, search for calendar, mail, etc.)

This is quite interesting :)
