The Workshop on the Role of Mobile Technologies in Fostering Social
Development [1] is taking place (yesterday and today), and among the
issues being considered is that of dealing with diverse delivery
channels (mobile phone, low-cost laptop etc.). It is certainly possible
that a DDR technology, such as that proposed by the DDWG, will have a
future role in supporting Web-based services in these diverse contexts.

Position papers and presentations can be viewed online [2].
